Headline: Jim and Pat Brown Repopulate Michigan!

Okay, I love Pat, Cousin Jim's wife. But she sent me oodles of lovely pictures of oodles of lovely kinfolk, then belatedly sent me a list of who is who. Sudoku, crosswords, other puzzle fans, maybe you can help match names with faces...Another note read: "Just realized I forgot to tell you anything about the picturers. They were taken on a trip to northern MI to celebrate our 50th. We did the 'new' Brown tradition of B&B and Grandmother's gingersnaps, the guys played a lot of golf, thre was a water park at the resort so the kids did a bunch of swimming and we ladies got pampered at the spa. It was great to get that many of us together... Oh yeah, as you may have noticed most of us got tattoos too, fortunately they washed off in a week or so." (P.S. I didn't see the tattoos, maybe someone can point them out to me.)

Aunt Edith on the Waterfront

Pat Brown sent me these photos of Aunt Edith, the waterfront being Port Huron. Aunt Edith probably doesn't recall, but I remember visiting her when I was 13 or so, and having the best cherry pie I've ever tasted, and sitting in the sunniest, friendliest kitchen I ever knew. She's a lovely lady!

In the Family Tradition

Sis Turner sent me this photo and note:

"We're very proud of this young man, Chief Petty Officer Bryan D. Brown. He was pinned at a ceremony on Wednesday and I know that his dad is popping his buttons! Just wanted to share all of his hard work with the rest of the Brown Clan and friends who know Bryan." (I'm guessing Cousin Sis was popping her own buttons about her nephew who is also Uncle Norman's grandson.)

It was Scotland, it was Summer. Of course it rained. But our intrepid travelers struck out on adventure day after day. . .

On the Street Where They Lived?

Dad and Bruce went to Scotland recently, sort of a geneological trek for Bruce, who'd never been. Alas, I have pictures with no explanations, so make up your own captions and post them or email them to me. Think of the stories we could make up...!
