What's the Name of the 3-Headed Dog in the Harry Potter Novels...?

When we were headed back to Milwaukee from Lake Owen last month (last month already?!), Janet took me to Eagle River, to see Alex's house and to meet Roscoe. Both were delightful: the house is lovely and rustic -- in a very up-to-date way, with all "mod cons" as they say; and Roscoe is as sweet as can be -- and about the size of a small pony, but with a bigger head!



Bruce and Donna went up to Eagle River for Labor Day weekend. I'd hoped to have some pictures from their weekend to add, but nothing so far. It sounds like it was cool and breezy, from what Alex told me (as I sat sweltering in 3-digit temperatures with no air movement, just plenty of blistering sun and brown air -- did I envy him bitterly? No, of course not. Hah.).

Temps here have dropped, thankfully. And the floor guys are here, finishing up our kitchen floor!
