Puppies and Pink Unicorns

Presenting the newest member of the Brown family -- the New Mexico branch: Stuart and Leslie just brought home a 10-week-old standard poodle pup, Sasha.





Leslie reports that the pup is already pushing the big dogs around -- but I think he's living dangerously if that's Oso's pink unicorn he's mauling...

We Move In Today!

Just a couple weeks ago, our new kitchen looked like this...






Then Plumber Tim got to work, installing appliances and faucet...






Cabinets are hung, counter is finished, appliances installed, light fixtures hung...







Tim wants to use our new oven for Sunday dinner -- but it's soooo clean and pretty I don't want it to get dirty! Sigh...

Let it Snow and Sarah's First Christmas

Sarah, Martin and I enjoyed our first Christmas as a threesome and really made the rounds to visit family.  We visited with Grandma and Grandpa Fields and Aunt Becky in Kansas City, then went out to Colorado to see Grandma and Grandpa Crane.

Sarah really go the hang of opening presents and is enjoying the new toys, but mostly she enjoyed playing in the paper and spending time with her grandparents.

Sarah learned to crawl just after Thanksgiving and just in time to explore presents under the tree at home. 

 While in Colorado, it snowed all day Christmas day and again on Dec. 27th!  We took Sarah out to play in about a foot and a half of snow -- made for great baby snow angels!
