Could she BEE any cuter?

Now that I've figured out how to log on to the blog (finally) -- I'll start sharing some pictures of Sarah.  She will be 7 mos old on Saturday, Dec. 1.  Life has changed, but Martin and I couldn't imagine anything better.  Sarah is now sitting up on her own and trying really hard to get the crawling thing down.

For Halloween, Sarah was a Bee.  However, her dad had it in his mind that she should be a piece of shrimp sushi -- so she had a costume change.  Of course she also had to have her lounging around outfit.   Finally -- we had to throw in Sarah supporting her dad's team - GO MIZZOU!

Road Trip -- Sunsets and Snowstorms

Tim and I are back in Los Angeles, now, after a wonderful Thanksgiving roadtrip to visit Stuart and Leslie in New Mexico. It was great to get out of town, and we saw parts of the country we've never seen before. Sadly, I did not get any pictures of the pretty Thanksgiving table (and fab food!), nor even any of the house. Hmmm. Guess we'll have to go back! But, meanwhile, here are some snaps:

Here, we have the obligatory -- but breathtaking, nonetheless -- desert sunset photo:

The sands of White Sands, New Mexico, really are white. The picnic shelters are wacky, and, as I was looking at this view, all I could think was, "Ray Bradbury would get a kick out of this!"

On Friday, we headed up into the mountains, to Stuart and Leslie's cabin in Timberon. Beautiful, rugged scenery...

Must get to work. More to follow...

Progress

The cabinets are up. Now we're waiting for the tile to be delivered; then Tim will build the counter and backsplash.

Good thing we're not planning on Thanksgiving here. Guess we'll be done by Christmas... sigh.

Meanwhile, we still miss Sweet Pea, but Digit seems to be doing ok.
